It is the largest-ever class of new adjudicators for the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) announced that 77 new immigration judges and 5 temporary immigration judges have been sworn in. The Justice Department highlighted this as the largest class of new adjudicators in the office’s history.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said, “The Trump administration is committed to reestablishing an immigration judge corps that is dedicated to restoring the rule to the law in our nation’s immigration system.”
The acting attorney general continued, “We are onboarding the largest immigration judge class in agency history. This could only happen thanks to President Trump’s decisive leadership and commitment to securing our borders. I also applaud EOIR’s leadership team for helping facilitate these hiring efforts and recruiting highly qualified and talented personnel in record time.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the new class of judges to be discerning as they rule on immigration cases and applications for asylum.
- For Acting Attorney General Blanche to seek God’s guidance as he heads the Justice Department.
- For President Trump to receive God’s wisdom as he nominates individuals to federal roles.
